POST-TOURS
After
an intense conference week, Pascal Evasions, specialized in South
of France destinations, proposes a relaxing post-tour on the Canal
du Midi in order to discover our rich environment and cultural heritage…not
to mention our local gastronomy!
These
excursions require a minimum of 40 participants in order to be organized.
ONE
DAY TOUR – Friday September 3rd, 2010 - "Midi canal and
Valmagne Abbey"
Departure at
8h00 from Corum conference center (level 0) by bus.
Boarding on a barge for a cruise guided by the captain, crossing
the eight locks of FONTSERANNES and cruising on the canal under
the shadow of platane trees up to the Malpas Tunnel to arrive end
of the morning at Colombiers’ harbour.
Lunch
In the afternoon,
guided tour of the Benedictine Abbey which was founded in 1138
 To
end the tour, muscat tasting in Frontignan at the la Peyrade castle
and visit of the cellar.
Arrival
in Montpellier in late afternoon
